Today, I encourage you to pause and consider how God might be inviting you to share Jesus with others and live out the weekend message in the coming days.
As you begin, take a few moments to sit quietly before God. Set aside any distractions, close your eyes, and take a few slow, deep breaths. With each exhalation, give him your worries and concerns and let his peace wash over you.
Next, take some time to read the verse below and explore the questions that follow. You can do this on your own or with others.
2 Corinthians 5:20
So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
What do you think God may be trying to teach you about sharing the message of Christ with others?
What worries or fears do you have about spreading the Gospel with those around you? What holds you back from telling others about Jesus?
Finally, consider recording your responses in a journal, whether digital or hardcopy. It's a great way to be able to look back on the adventure God has you on.
Prayer:
Father, what a privilege it is to be called to be your ambassador and share your message of love and reconciliation with the world. Lord, when I am nervous or scared to share the Good News of your son, Jesus, give me boldness to proclaim his name. Help me have the courage to serve selflessly, invite those around me to church, and share my story, so others may come to know you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Matthew 6:33
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Discussion Questions:
Icebreaker: What is something that scares you?
Why might people be hesitant to share their faith?
Read Matthew 28:18-20 and 2 Corinthians 5:20. What do you learn about your purpose in God’s Kingdom?
What is your faith story? Use the framework offered this weekend (life before Jesus, how you met Jesus, and your new life with Jesus) to tell your story.
Who is your “one”? Which method (serve, invite, share) will you use to tell your one about the message of Christ? What will that look like?
