To begin, take a few moments to sit quietly before God. Set aside all distractions, close your eyes, and take a few slow, deep breaths. With each exhalation, give him your worries and concerns and let his peace wash over you.
Today, I encourage you to pause and consider the struggles you’ve had when you tried to do good, but it didn’t turn out as you wanted. Take a minute to think about the frustration and then release it to God, letting it go.
Next, take some time to slowly read through Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, and Romans 7:24-25.
What do you learn about yourself—and all of the human race? What do you learn about God and his love for you?
Finally, consider recording your responses in a journal, whether digital or hardcopy. It's a great way to be able to look back on the adventure God has you on.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I do not deserve your love, and yet, you love me so much you made a way for me to have a relationship with you. Thank you for this precious gift. Help me use it to your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
