Over the past week, we have considered the ways faking can be fatal and the ways to give God our reverence, awe, trust, and obedience instead.
Today, take some time to review the scripture that stood out to you. You may consider reading Acts 5:1-11, Romans 6:23, or 1 John 2:3-5. Look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days, and jot down any actions you took this week.
How can you respond to God out of reverence and awe? What steps can you take toward trusting and obeying him simply because of who God is.
Prayer:
Father, thank you for loving me and calling me your own. Help me never lose sight of the mighty power or the wonders of your love. Help me bring glory to your name, so others will come to know you. Amen.
