During this past week, we’ve been delving into God’s purpose for our lives. We’ve explored how when we use the combination of the passions we have, our unique personalities, and the places we find ourselves to benefit others, our lives will be rich and satisfying. Life with Jesus is a wonderful adventure.
Today, I invite you to carve out a few quiet moments to reread the verses that really spoke to you this week. Some possibilities may include 1 Peter 4:8 and Mark 10:14-18. Then look back on the notes you captured from last Sunday and reflect on the actions you took this week.
You may consider making additional notes as you explore the following questions:
What passions do you have and how could you share them with others for the sake of introducing people to Jesus?
Where has God placed you to make a difference for his kingdom?
Prayer:
Lord, it is incredible and also humbling to think I am your masterpiece. Help me to trust you like a child and step into the adventure you have for me. Show me how to use my gifts to bless and serve those around me, just as Jesus did. Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Romans 1:20
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
