Over the past week, we’ve been encouraged to become more aware of the Holy Spirit in our midst. How is it going for you?

Today, I invite you to carve out a few quiet moments to reread the verses that really spoke to you throughout the week. Some possibilities may include Ephesians 5:15-20, Romans 8:6, and John 14:26-27. Then look back on the notes you captured Sunday, along with reflecting on the actions you took this week and consider how you grew closer to God and his Holy Spirit.

You may consider making additional notes as you explore the following questions:

What did you learn about the Holy Spirit this week?

What did you notice about yourself as you became more aware of the Holy Spirit’s presence this week? What is one thing that went well? What was challenging or difficult?

How can you continue to know God better and draw closer to him?

Prayer:
Father, I thank and praise you for the Advocate that you sent to walk with me through my days, to teach me and guide me in your ways. Help me become more aware of the Holy Spirit and draw closer to you. I know this leads to a life of true joy and peace and is the only way I can live life unfazed. In Jesus’ name, amen.
