Message Title: Your Contribution

Theme Verse: Jeremiah 17:7 "But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence."

Bottom Line: Use what you have instead of waiting for what you lack.

Key Verses:

Luke 21:1-4 While Jesus was in the Temple, he watched the rich people dropping their gifts in the collection box. Then a poor widow came by and dropped in two small coins. "I tell you the truth," Jesus said, "this poor widow has given more than all the rest of them. For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has."

Romans 12:1-2 I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Additional Passages: Mark 12:41-44; 1 Peter 5:5-8; 1 Chronicles 29:14; Matthew 16:25-26

Daily Declarations:

I am at my best when I trust God first.

I will get what I create or allow.

I will reach for things that replenish the whole me.

I will focus on purpose to get through what bothers me.

God brings out my best when I offer him my all.
