Heaven! That word probably causes certain images to pop into your mind. Maybe it's cherubs floating on clouds, or someplace where you get to do whatever you want. But what do we learn from God’s Word?
The word heaven is mentioned around 500 times in scripture, and Jesus offers us some insight during his time on earth.
John 4:1-3
1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.
Today, or throughout this week, take some time to think about heaven by using the following discussion questions with a friend or by journaling about them on your own.

Prayer:
God, I praise you for the things you have done to show me your love, and I worship you for who you are. May there be a moment each day where I’m given the opportunity to show the world how thankful I am for your love and grace. Thank you, God, for stirring up my passion for you each day. May my life reflect your glory and the transforming power of your love. Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
