Weekend Series: Christmas 2023

DreamTeam Writer: Kelly Pagel

Sunday, December 24, 2023

Today, as you celebrate the birth of our Savior, I encourage you to pause, connect with those around you and reflect on the amazing gift of Jesus.

Begin by taking a few moments to sit quietly. Set aside all distractions, close your eyes, and take a few slow, deep breaths. With each exhalation, give God your worries and concerns and allow his peace wash over you.

Next, take some time to slowly read through Matthew 2:1-11? What do you learn about God in these verses?

Finally, consider recording your responses in a journal, whether digital or hardcopy. It's a great way to be able to look back on the adventure God has you on.

Prayer:
Father, today as I celebrate the birth of your Son, help me to not lose sight of what’s important. Thank you for making a way for me to have a relationship with you. There is no way I could do this on my own, but out of love Jesus came to earth to offer the gift of salvation. Help me to draw closer to you in the days to come and share your love with others.
