This past week we read Titus 1 and considered how our belief about Jesus will affect how we live our lives. When we realize we are incapable of redeeming ourself and instead trust in Christ’s incredible gift of salvation, these beliefs will impact our behavior.
This week, take time to review Titus 1 and choose the verse or verses that stood out to you over the past week. Then spend some time reflecting on how your beliefs about Jesus shape your behavior. Look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days and jot down any actions you took this week. And if you haven’t signed up for the Titus reading plan, text Titus to 419-419-0707 and join us next week.
Prayer:
Merciful God, I confess that I fall short and have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbor as myself. I deserve your present and eternal punishment. But because of Christ, I know I am forgiven. Renew me and lead me, so that I may delight in your will and walk in your ways to the glory of your holy name. Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Titus 2:14
“He [Jesus] gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.”
