Throughout this past week, we have had an opportunity to explore the idea that an effective change mindset is one where we partner with God, not depend on our own strength. Instead of focusing on behavior transformation, we need to shift and think about spiritual transformation.
Today, I invite you to carve out a few quiet moments to reread the verses that really spoke to you this week. Some possibilities may come from last weekend’s message, such as Romans 7:18-25 or 1 Corinthians 15:9-10. Then look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days and reflect on the actions you took this week.
You may consider making additional notes as you explore the following questions:
Where do you want to be in a year?
Why is this important to you?
How can you engage with God and participate in the process?
21 Days of Prayer Day 6—Listening
Today’s Prayer Focus: To Listen to Him (John 10:4)
Prayer:
Dear Father, I am so grateful to have you near me, guiding me with your voice. Give me the faith and patience to listen, so that I will not stray from the path you have planned for me—the path that I trust will keep me safe and bring me closer to you. Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
2 Peter 1:3
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
