Throughout this past week, we have been exploring how our identity shapes our destiny. Though the enemy tries to derail us, our identity is found in Christ, and living from this knowledge shapes how we love and honor others.
Today, I invite you to carve out a few quiet moments to reread the verses that really spoke to you this week. Some possibilities may come from last weekend’s message, such as John 15:9-11 or Ephesians 4:21-23. Then look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days and reflect on the actions you took this week.
You may consider making additional notes as you explore the following questions:
How do you notice the enemy sneaking in to sabotage your identity?
How can you remind yourself of your identity in Christ?
How can you live out this truth?
21 Days of Prayer - Day 13—Relationships
Today’s Prayer Focus: To be like Christ in my Relationships (
Philippians 2:3-4)
Prayer:
Dear Lord, please help me be like you in all of my relationships with others. Please help me humble myself and think of the needs of others before my own. Teach me to see how I can serve those around me. Please show me the places in my life where I can make others feel like they matter and let them know that they are not alone. Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
2 Peter 1:3
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
