This past week we had the opportunity to consider the significance trees have in the Bible, as well as, continue reading through the book of Mark.
Today, I invite you to carve out a few quiet moments to reread the verses that really spoke to you this week. Some possibilities may come from last weekend’s message, such as Genesis 2:15-17, Isaiah 11:1, John 15:5. Or perhaps there was a verse or verses from Mark 13-16 . Look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days and reflect on the actions you took this week.
What was something significant you learned about God this week? Where is he calling you to trust him more?
Prayer:
Lord, I praise you for all of the beautiful places you created – the mountains, the rivers, the gardens, and the trees. Each place Father is a reminder of your goodness and your love. As the trees begin to bloom, help me remember that you love me in spite of my imperfect past and trust that you know what is best and have purpose for me. In Jesus name, Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Romans 1:20
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
