Weekend Series: Easter 2024

DreamTeam Writer: Kelly Pagel

Saturday, April 6, 2024

This past week, we had the opportunity to explore the role of doubt in our faith lives and saw how Jesus responded to Thomas when he doubted. Just like with Thomas, Jesus meets us in that place and draws us closer to him if we keep our eyes on him and keep showing up.

Today, I invite you to carve out a few quiet moments to reread the verses that really spoke to you this week. Some possibilities include John 20:19-29 or John 14:1-6. Look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days and reflect on the actions you took this week.

What was something significant you learned about God this week? Where is he calling you to trust him with your doubt?

Prayer:
Father, you are so good! I praise you and thank you for the gift of your Son. Jesus loved me so much he died for me even when I didn’t deserve it. Help me believe and live into this truth. When I have questions or doubts, help me turn to you, confident of your love and willingness to meet me where I am on this adventure. Help draw me closer to you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
