Share your servant’s heart by visiting a retired man or woman who receives few to no visitors at Aviva Assisted Living. You’ll be the hands and feet of Jesus, brightening others' day, and will leave with joy in your heart after hearing a story about the resident’s baptism or the history of those Navy ships on the wall. While this group is set to meet Mondays from 3:30-4:30, you can choose a day/time that works for you and the resident. The group leader will guide you through the process and help you get established. This is the perfect opportunity if you need flexibility, but also want to be part of a group! The group will connect periodically via text or at church to pray for the residents and be refreshed by Scripture. Children are welcome if they would be a blessing to the resident's experience.

Help make a difference through being a friend to seniors at Blue Creek Skilled Nursing in Whitehouse. We will meet the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3-4pm to do activities with their senior residents under the direction of the Activities Director. Activities could include singing hymns, sharing scripture and prayer time, doing a craft or activity, taking them for a walk, sitting in their courtyard. This is an open men's group that meets each week to share life and our Christian journey. We meet for breakfast each Wednesday at 7 am at Scramblers in Maumee, OH 43537. We would love for those seeking to grow their relationship with God by joining like-minded men to come and join us. This group meets year-round and does occasionally miss weeks during the summer due to vacation schedules. Please contact the group leader before coming to make sure the group is meeting that week.
