2022-2023 Interns

Hey Guys!

Back in February, All of us interns had the oppurtunity to take a trip to Nashville Tennessee. We went down to visit a church named Cross Point Church. While we were there, We watched a service the first day. Next we got to visit them during the week. We got to to sit down with our ministry areas and ask them questions. I asked my area about how they have the culture they do and why they do what they do. It was an amazing experience to be able to see how they serve people and how they can bring people to Christ but in their own way. Throughout the trip, we also got to explore Nashville and all it has to offer. It was a awesome bonding experience with the rest of the interns. With some of the interns, I got to do some Karaoke for the very first time ever. I stepped out of my shell in ways I never thought I would. It grew me in who I am as a person. I am excited to see what the rest of this internship has to hold!

Hey All!

    I hope you all are having an amazing week! This past month, I have got the privlidge of becoming a floating head of production. For the next few months, I am going to be at our Oregon campus two weekends out of the month. I get the honor of coming along side them and building up their production team. I will also be there to help best equip them and also help train them. It just starts there. After that, I get to pick another campus to go to and come along side them. It has been a true blessing being able to meet these incredible people. Growing connections and seeing how God is working threw people and campuses is the coolest experience ever! I have also had the privlidge to be able to start playing bass on mainstage in the band. It has been an amazing experience and a blast to do. I now play once a month on stage and do production the other weekends. The support that I have had from others is like none other. The doors that have opened up for me and the paths God has taken me down has grown me so much in my faith and in my relationships with others. I could not imagine being here before this internship. I am truely blessed to have you all as supporters and to have the people I have.

Hello Supporters!!

This past week we had the start of our series At The Movies. There was a lot of production aspects to it and it was super cool to see the stage transform fron Halloweekends to At The Movies in a week. We had so many fun activitiesto do and props to see! People were engaged in all of the activities and laughing during the message too. It was so cool to see the attendence go up so much! That week, I got to do all things construction to set up the stage. There is a giant popcorn box on stage that we build by hand. What was even more cool was to see how the crowd reacted when they saw the amazing props. It helped get them in the mood and more engaged with the series. I unfortunatly did not get pictures this time but I will be providing pictures in the next post.

Hey Supporters!

       I am super pumped to see what is to come this year! God has already been doing amazing work through us. It is my privilege to get to share a story that I thought was super cool. Last weekend I got was training a girl on computers. Up until this point she had been struggling a little bit to find the right position for her. When she was running computers during run through, I was able to see her light up and really take off. She had so much fun and was super excited to serve in this position. She ended up running all the services that weekend. I think this story is cool because I was able to be apart of helping someone find how they want to serve. I was able to see someone who has a big heart and who wants to serve really step in and help make the service possible. It is opportunities like this that I get to see and be apart of. I am very thankful to all who give to make this possible. There are going to be plenty more stories to come.
