Over this past week, we’ve dug into Matthew 24 to learn more about what Jesus has to say about the end of the world. However, rather than spending time worrying about the when and the how, which Jesus states even he does not know (Matthew 24:36), we can live in a way that is expectant of his return.
Bottom Line: Don’t let the end times distract you from God’s end game.
This week, take time to review Matthew 24 or any of the specific verses that stood out to you. Then reflect on ways you can pursue what’s most important. Look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days, and jot down any actions you took this week.
21 Days of Prayer - Day 13
Focus: To Grow In Faith (Proverbs 29:18)
Prayer:
Dear God, I pray for individuals to understand God’s vision for their lives and grow in the life-changing adventure to know you, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference. I pray for the courage to take the next step you have for me, and I pray for others—that they would see the next step you have for them to move forward on their spiritual journey.
Series Theme Verse:
Hebrews 3:14
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
